Olga Kosteneva
Lives and works in Novosibirsk (Russia), is a member of a group of Novosibirsk artists “Colour”, engaged in painting, drawing, batic.
Works by Olga Kosteneva are in private collections in Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany.
“Still life, land- scape, genre things, value of individual feeling of real events and versification them into canvas is a way of any artist. It is impossible to abnegate a quite joy to be implicated to discovery of the mankind- understanding of The Divine Beginning of the World. Plastic language of painting probably made it possible. Banal and out-dated eternal values help discover and keep our feelings and wake up our imagination to leave behind some total physical picture and find personal space in conscience of a spectator for some play of sensations, associations and feelings. Happiness, quietness, beauty, tenderness, harmony of the world and the positive energy only- just those things I'd like to show in my works”.
